In West Vancouver, there were 46 sales in the month of October. The sales to new listings ratio was 41% which represents a balanced market. For October 2019, the sales to total active listings percentage was 9%, which is an increase from the 7% from October 2018. Sales for October 2019 were up by 10 units compared to October 2018. 

The West Vancouver listing inventory has decreased by 54 homes compared to October 2018. The average price year-to-date (YTD) is down by 11% compared to October 2018.  The West Vancouver median price decreased by $26,000 from September 2019 to October 2019 ($2,250,000 to $2,224,000).

In North Vancouver, there were 89 sales in the month of October. The sales to new listings ratio was 67% which represents a seller’s market. For October 2019, the sales to total active listings percentage was 27%, an increase from 15% in October 2018. Sales for October 2019 were up by 21 units compared to October 2018. 

The North Vancouver listing inventory has decreased by 112 homes compared to October 2018. The average price year-to-date (YTD) is down 8% compared to October 2018. The North Vancouver median price decreased by $45,000 from September 2019 to October 2019 ($1,575,000 to $1,530,000).
