In West Vancouver, there were 56 sales in the month of May. The sales to new listings ratio was 33% which represents a buyer’s market. For May 2019, the sales to total active listings percentage was 10.4%, which is more than the 6.3% from May 2018. Sales for May 2019 were up by 18 units compared to May 2018.

The West Vancouver listing inventory has decreased by 63 homes compared to May 2018. The average price year-to-date (YTD) is down by 7% compared to May 2018. The West Vancouver median price decreased by $21,429 from April 2019 to May 2019 ($2,650,000 to $2,628,571).

In North Vancouver, there were 105 sales in the month of May. The sales to new listings ratio was 53% which represents a seller’s market. For May 2019, the sales to total active listings percentage was 24%, an increase from 21% in May 2018. Sales for May 2019 were up by 15 units compared to May 2018.

The North Vancouver listing inventory has decreased by 5 homes compared to May 2018. The average price year-to-date (YTD) is down 7% compared to May 2018. The North Vancouver median price decreased by $179,994 from April 2019 to May 2019 ($1,680,000 to $1,500,006).
